The Verdict is In

Well, yesterday Angela was finally diagnosed with complex partial seizures. I say "finally" because I've been questioning seizure activity for more than 2 years!

The neurologist was pretty determined that she start meds LAST NIGHT. They warned me she'd be VERY drowsy the first couple of weeks.

Poor kid, life is just not fair to her sometimes. But, you'd never know by watching her happy self take each obstacle in stride. This morning she woke up bubbly and excited for her day. Her PCA Brett (who is very much like a big brother to her) and his friend Michael (also a PCA) are taking Angela and her buddy Adam to Camp Nickelodeon at the Mall of America. They just left, so I better use my time wisely!

Thank you everyone for your prayers as we get everything sorted out for Angela. On a side note, we haven't heard a final verdict on Irina yet. We should hear something any day. I think the deadline for them to submit the names of all the kids traveling is Tuesday or Wednesday.

Do you know what triggers them? What are her symptoms? Behavior change?
