Migraines

I am so stink'in tired of migraines! Mine are cyclical, and like clockwork, every 2 weeks I have a three-day migraine. All I want to do is lay in a dark room, but that's not really possible for most moms, is it?

About 6 months ago I started taking a daily migraine drug. It worked GREAT as far as my migraines were concerned. Unfortunately it also messed up my GI system. I didn't know what the problem was until about a week before I left to get Axel when I finally put 2 + 2 together. The GI problems stopped by the time I traveled, and I went quite awhile without a migraine.

They are now back with a vengeance! I'm on my second multi-day migraine in two weeks. I had made it to day 3 and it was going away, but tonight (ok, really it was 3:00 a..m) I was woken up up by a very different headache than I usually have. UGH!

Time to get back into my neurologist and figure out what's going on. When they're well controlled life is good. I want the good back.

My father in law was finally diagnosed "migraine" after years of suffering in silence and one really bad year last year. They put him on fiercet(spelling could be wrong) and he is good now.

I haven't had one in a very long time, but feel your pain. Good luck and hope you feel better soon

A friend of mine was having the same issues. She ended up getting an MRI and found out that she had an aneurysm. She got surgery a couple of weeks ago and now she feels like a new woman! I am not sure if you have looked into this or not but I wanted to pass it on. I used to have migraines and went to many specialists myself. I found out that artificial sweetners were poisoning me.. Once I stopped with the diet sodas I got 100% better.

Catching up! So sorry to hear about Rubee! :( Loved Angela's swimming pics!! Axel's "spot" in his room sounds VERY much like Kellsey's "spot" in our living room. Hope it doesn't turn into a thing like here where we can't get her OUT of her spot! SO glad to hear Headsprout is working for him! :) Hope you can figure out his finger chewing. Kellsey was waking up covered in blood every morning from chewing hers open. Ugh! Oh and that gun is perfectly fine! Phooey on "Mr. Fake Profile!" Kameron and Keeghan have tons of nerf guns and stuff. GRR! Hope they can figure out your migraines once and for all. So bummed you couldn't stay on the topamax! :(

OK I'm caught up now! :)
