This video was produced by students at the University of St. Thomas here in MN. I am SO PROUD of the awesome job they did! I think every middle school, high school and college student in America should watch this.
Angela did her own message a couple years ago. It was even shown to some of the students at her school. Still that word is heard being thrown around the halls of her school for her, and all of her classmates with intellectual disabilities to listen to. Yet, if the "n" word were heard, or another racial slur, swift action would be taken. Maybe schools will start consider this the same type of slur.
