Look Who Came to Visit!

This is a Sharp Skinned Hawk. I don't know that I've ever seen one before, but he's been hunting in our yard. The Chickadees in my previous post are NOT happy, since they are prey!








He's really looking hard for something, and thinks he sees it.....


Another hawk flew over. "This is MY hunting spot!"


This is who he was looking for when he was on the fence. As soon as he flew away, this male squirrel came out. His mate has babies in a tree that the hawk was sitting in.

I love the Sharp Shinned Hawk! In Emily MN we have 19 acres that has several families of them! They eat up the ***gophers!!!!
