Best Buddies Prom 2014

Preparations started a week in advance with the hunt for just the right dress. I showed Angela several dresses. She chose this one because it was "wine" colored. "Wine" being the important word. They had to shorten it by about 18 inches.

She got her nails done the night before.

A couple hours before prom she got her hair done at the salon.

FINALLY the time came to get dressed for Prom!!

And then her date, Andy, arrived.

Angela looked awesome! That dress is fabulous and I loved her hair with all the curls. Her date looked so handsome. I loved the pic of the two of them taking their own pic! I hope she had a wonderful time.

What a beautiful couple going to their prom. She looks so grown up in the dress and with her hair curled and up. Did the boys like her dressed up?
Don't know how you handle your kids and also how you must worry about yourself. My daughter was 31 when she had her left breast removed. In August she will celebrate 15 years cancer free and she had a doctor who told her she was too young to worry about the lump she found but, he said "if it will make you feel better I'll order a mammogram -- the rest is history. She also never went back to that doctor. My prayers are with your whole family as you go through this..
Remember, GOD IS IN CONTROL!

Thank you everyone! They sure had a fun time at prom. They danced themselves right into the ground. LOL Both of them were so tired by the time we got home. I don't know about Andy, but Angela could hardly hold herself up to get to bed. Oh, and just so you know, it is NOT easy to get nylons on another person. ;-)
