Roll Call?

I see my counter go up every day, and I'm really curious to know who reads here! (or is the counter just going up from me reading my own blog? LOL) Even if you don't normally comment, or you're just dropping in, I'd love if you would take a moment to participate in my own personal roll call. If you just stumbled in here, how did you find me? If you've been here for awhile, how long have you been here? WHY are you here? Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi Leah, I read your blog, but you don't get counter hits from me because I have you in my Google Reader. I'm awful at leaving comments on other's blogs, too. But I'm a reader. :)

Tom: LOL Do you know I just figured out what the heck Google Reader is about a week ago? How pitiful is that. People have commented "I read your blog on reader" and I had no clue what they were talking about. And like you, now that I'm reading blogs on reader I tend to not comment on them. I think reader is a good/bad thing!

I spend entirely too much time reading on Reader... I've got like 20+ blogs feeding there every day. :)

I have you on my google reader too :)
Why am I hear? I happen to think you are a very good writer & I enjoy reading yor posts. I'm also very interested to read the experience of a mom with a child with Ds that's a little bit older. It's easy to find mom's blogging about their babies...harder to find mom's talking about their older kids. And, since I know we'll be there one day, I love to gather knowledge from those who have "been there, done that"

Hey Leah, I have become a blog junkie :) and your blog is one of my fixes :) I discoverd the world of blogs sometime in Oct. '07 and I have quite a few I try to keep up on, which is probably why, I don't comment often enough. Love your blog. Especially fun since I have had the privileage of meeting you both:) Love to get together with you and Angela sometime for a playdate with Adam :) Thanks for your great stories, Monica

Ohhh how fun! Thanks guys for taking the time to post. I know I'm guilty of not commenting enough on other people's blogs. If I read them regularly I try to comment once a week at least. Most of those I read blog daily, or almost daily. I love being able to get a glimpse into the lives of other people!

Hi Leah. I never commented before, but have been reading for some time now. I found your blog from the links in the GIFTS website. I was hesitant to comment because I'm a bit of an "imposter". I read DS blogs (and websites...and downsyn.com...and books like Gifts) but I don't have a child or lovedone with DS. I just feel somehow drawn to people with DS and I am really hoping to adopt a child with DS soon (but still working on convincing everyone else involved!) Angela is precious, and I really enjoy reading your blog. Thank you. Hope to be able to join in on downsyn soon...

I'm not sure how I found your blog but have been a reader for some time. I have a daughter with DS. Enjoy reading your blog.

Hi Leah, your comment on my blog lead me to yours. I have enjoyed reading about your daughter. I also looked up your entry in Gifts. I must admit it scared me a little! Your description of the sledding incident was funny, but I just thought of being in your position...scary. I worry about those type of things as I try to come to terms with my son's cognitive disability. Will he know when he is in danger? Will he be able to protect himself? Will ours be a life filled with rescuing him off a frozen pond? Guess I just need to get used to living on the edge a little as I teach my little guy to find a safe place in this world.

Hi. I love your site. I stumbled on it looking for special needs sites. I have a five year old son with autism. Check out my site sometime if you want too. I love the pictures of your daughter. She is so cute! http://mixedblessings4.blogspot.com/
