hi Leah, they are super easy to make. I made some for my house and wrapped them with different colored electrical tape (need to use them on carpet or grass because the road dings them up a lot). Might be fun for Axel and even Angela. Good way to do finer kind of hand movements and measuring distance with your eyes. That way they would be uniquely theirs :) There are directions on hooping.org. It's important to have the right size and like the song says - heavier is easier for beginners. Love reading about all your adventures :)
Y'know, I used to love to hula hoop when I was a kid. Then, after about 30 years of not having touched one, I was shocked (really, really shocked!) recently to discover that I could no longer do it. I guess it's not like riding a bike, although it may have something to do with the increased width of my hips over that period of time...LOL
I love your blog! I look forward to reading it everyday! The only con is that I wish you had a "home" button to bring you to the last blog written. My computer is not the fastest and it takes a while for the sidebars to load; therefore, taking more time to read your latest blog. It is worth the wait though!!!! Can't wait to hear about the halo being GONE!
who would of thought! Had no idea u rock back n forth. Been trying to teach Jonathon to move his hips. I will have to try the correct way. Good post THANKS bunches!
