I first met my friend Tamara almost 4 years ago. One of our puppies had come back to us, and Tamara's family, including her son Shawen, (who has Down syndrome and is the same age as Angela), was ready to add a family member to their home. They're from southern Illinois, and I'm in Minnesota, so we both made a road trip and met in Iowa. Since then, Tamara and I have gotten to be good internet friends, and it's been fun watching Shawen grow up through is mom's blog.
This morning Tamara writes about "Volunteer Corn". A message worthy of spreading!
