Caller: (breathy voice) Hi mom.
Me: (grinning ear to ear) Hi Angela. Good morning.
Angela: Good morning mom. Today is Wednesday. We're going to play with Caleb, then go to see Dr. Mary.
Me: Right. What are you doing right now?
Angela: Um, I dunno.
Me: Remember you need to bring your laundry downstairs and make your bed.
Angela: Ok mom. Bye. Oh!...Mom!.... I love you!

ReplyDeleteI love getting cell phone calls from inside the house ... like the times my older son has called me because there's no toilet paper in the bathroom and he needs it -- now.
That cracks me up - how funny that she calls you like that! So cute - and so sweet (although calling at like 9:00 am might have been nice...)

ReplyDeleteLove it!! Although, if Adam had a phone I would be awaken by the police ringing our door bell :) because the first call he'd make is 911!!! Which is why our phone has to stay on top of the frig. :)
